script uploaded. what shell i do with those emty ror.xml & sitemap.xml files .
also when ever i genreate site maps it shows same red message .Maximum 500 pages Limit Exceeded .

some one please breafly explain what else i can do & how to use this .

Hello,

"maximum pages limit" message is only displayed when you run online generator on [ External links are visible to logged in users only ] website. With standalone generator script you have no limits and you run it from *your* site, not from [ External links are visible to logged in users only ]. i.e. if you uploaded script to "generator" folder on your site, you should open [ External links are visible to logged in users only ] in browser to create sitemap.

after uploading generator folder when ever i try to open it with my website url it gives this error
Internal Server Error

The server encountered an internal error or misconfiguration and was unable to complete your request.

Please contact the server administrator, and inform them of the time the error occurred, and anything you might have done that may have caused the error.

More information about this error may be available in the server error log.

Additionally, a 404 Not Found error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.

most important question is,is this script work automatic. i mean before we generate xml sitemaps and put them in to google webmaster ,just press crewl & thats it .

Hello,

if you forgot the password, you can reset your configuration by removing "generator/data/generator.conf" file (via FTP). The password will be removed as well.

You should create sitemap (open Crawling page and click Run button) before submitting sitemap.xml to Google.

if i would like to creat a sitemap for my enternal url for eg insted of www.site.com 
www.site.com/categories.php?category= etc etc.
where i have to put this url in order to get sitemap for this .

or this software only creats sitemaps through home page url .

You should enter that link as "Starting URL" in generator config.

thanx a lot for helping me out .Enter the url as u said. crawling starts perfect but after some time it automaticlly stops .why is that do i have to select special crawling options.

Hello,

it looks like your server configuration doesn't allow to run the script long enough to create full sitemap. Please try to increase memory_limit and max_execution_time settings in php configuration at your host (php.ini file) or contact hosting support regarding this.

thanx for answering .what is the best crawl setting .Because when i leave them default .only crawl 2 pages rss & main page.only two urls for index.

Now when i made some changes & try to get sitemaps for my internal url it keeps on going hrs & hrs ,
