Can I exclude a share oh the site from sitemap?

Hallo, excuse me for my bad english!

I need to do the sitemap for a website that has a very large forum. But the forum is reserved to logged users. So i think that isn't useful to crowl the forum in the sitemap. An i right? If yes, how can I exlude the forum from the sitemap?

yes, it's a good idea to exclude forum from sitemap in your case, you can add it in "Exclude URLs" setting of generator. For instance, if your forum is located in [ External links are visible to logged in users only ] then you should add:
