Updating Sitemaps file in Google Sitemaps

I keep updating my [ External links are visible to forum administrators only ] more than 2-3 times a day and so the sitemaps file changes every now and then. The thing is google has not yet started indexing my blog, is it may be because that I keep updating the sitemaps not allowing the bot to index or something ? Or should I wait without updating the sitemaps until google starts indexing ?

I'm really confused, please help.

Hello,

according to google sitemap protocol, you can submit your sitemap as often as you want. However, I believe there is no need to do it more often than once a day.
