Validator crashes when trying to validate a sitemap with https

Hi,

When I check the sitemap for my site (https) with your validator tool on this site, I get this:

validator crash during target reading Error: scheme "https" not implemented

Does this mean https is not supported by your validator?

We tried it because Google also reports an error with our sitemap. (no further info)

We are using official W3C validator tool: [ External links are visible to logged in users only ] and looks like it doesn't support https links.
