Sitemap Generator

I have the sitemap generator set up.  When I click crawl, it does not generate the sitemap.  Its keep saying please wait, sitemap generation in process.  For three days it said this.  I dont know what I am doing wrong.  When I first ran, www.mysite.html/custom, and now it changed my sitemap on google.  I need to have unlimited sitemap up and running soon.  ANy suggestions
