Generating On Password Protected Domain

I'm currently working on a website which is still in the development stages.  I've just purchased and installed the unlimited xml sitemap generator.  However, i'm having problems because I can't get it passed my .htaccess authentication.  When it attempts to crawl I get the error "authorization required".

I've tried changing my site url in the config to [ External links are visible to forum administrators only ] However this did not work.

What can I do to get this working in my development environment.

you should temporarily disable authentication to get your site crawled, or apply authentication for external IPs only.
