error in the new version takes down my site

I installed the new 4.0 version, but the file "runcrawl.php" is running the process "crawlproc" over and over again and this makes my site crash. What should I do to fix this?

You should make sure that you do not have cron task setup to run every minute, check that it's only running one time a day.
