Only Indexing 50 pages

Hello,

I have tried every configeratuion I can think of and still I can't see to get this to run correctly.  Some times it looks like it is running correctly , it runs a long time and gives messages about large numbers of pages indexed and plenty more to go but  I always get this in the site map details and it is truly what I see when clicking on the site maps:

I have a pretty large site more than 50k pages and I really am counting on it working:    I don't even know how to diagnose?  Help please
