I'm having troubles with setting the sitemap and ror files to the '666' permission level.

I'm getting this error

When sending custom QUOTE commands to the remote server, one of the commands returned a 400 or higher error code. [21] Additional information: QUOT string not accepted: SITE CHMOD 0666 ror.xml.
Server has replied: [500] 'EPRT |1|75.13.99.251|49472|': command not understood 'SITE CHMOD 0666 ror.xml': command not understood.


Is there another way to get the files to take the change?

I would try to run generator without changing permissons in this case. If it doesn't work, you should changepermissions (allow write access) via hosting control panel.
