Exclusions for images?

The option to "Include Images information..." seems to work great. However, we have a number of images that are just part of the page formatting and shouldn't really get indexed, while others are product images for which important. Is there a way to exclude images from the sitemap based on the filename or extension?

Hello,

yes, you can use existing "Exclude URLs" setting - it's applied to images as well.
