Problems with https pages

I use XML-sitemaps to index a site consistening of Joomla (/) and WHMCS (/service/) - Some of the sites in WHMCS uses https - and they don't get indexed - is this normal?

yes, it's allowed to include URLs with the same protocol only in sitemap, i.e. if your starting URL is http:, then it will include ONLY http links (same for https:).
