My Server does not support php

I just purchased the unlimited PHP sitemap generator.  When I tried to set the permissions value, the number would not save.    Top of Page 8 of the instructions says the Hosting Control Panell will need to set the permissions.  And now my "web hoster" says that my Server does not support php. 

I have looked through the forum for any idea and have tried the .htaccess file, but that didn't work.  Any suggestions?

PHP is a requirement to run standalone generator script, you would need to contact your host to enable PHP.
