XML SiteMap has wrong URL string but txt and html is fine

Hey Guys,

I did not install our xml sitemap but here is the issue:

our old url string was      widget-123.html

new url string        widget-p-123.aspx

For some reason the txt and html version are fine but the XML is keeping our old URL string. Could there have been some sort of hard coded edit or is there some other issue. Why does the txt and html version update but not the XML? We only just bought this a few months ago and I am not sure if the original installer did something custom.

Any ideas? Were ready to give up.

Just further proof a source file must have changed I used the free-online version instead of our purchased server version and everything is fine. Any thoughts? Any idea what file would have been edited. I still don't have a clue.

please try to remove sitemap.xml, create new empty sitemap.xml instead and set 0666 permissions to it, then regenerate sitemap.
