does the sitemap generator follow and index links that are 'nofollow' ?

On some big sites i've set nofollow links to even out pagerank and wondered if i could be reducing the ability for xml-sitemap generator to index my site?

sitemap generator doesn't index pages that are linked with rel=nofollow attribute, or nofollow robots meta tag.
