Webmaster tool is showing error

Hi,

  I have submitted xmlsitemap.when i check in webmaster tool it is saying the following error

Error:

Sitemap is HTML
Your Sitemap appears to be an HTML page. Please use a supported sitemap format instead.


Actually what i did was i created a controller from there i am returning sitemap.xml view as a result dynamically.

Here i want to know one thing ,ie the starting letter should be capital (i mean Sitemap.xml)

sitemap filename is "sitemap.xml" (lower case)

the Name format ie sitemap.xml  is mandatory ?

You can rename the file if you wish.
