Unlimited sitemap returns errors
« on: January 23, 2011, 03:17:24 PM »
I have been using your unlimited sitemap tool successfully for a couple of years. Since the sitemaps are now separated and use an index, I am getting the error message shown after my name. These errors cause Google sitemaps not to work.

I have tried removing extra instances of <?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?>, but the maps still don't work.

Please advise what I may do and why it appears your automated sitemaps are intruducing unneeded lines of XML. Thanks.

Bob Sprague

please try to empty sitemap.xml file and regenerate sitemap. Also, make sure that you are running the latest version (4.0)
