Can't Generate Sitemap

I just updated my sitemap generator and I go to Generate the Sitemap and I get this error:

Directory Listing Denied

This Virtual Directory does not allow contents to be listed.

Help!

try to add "index.php" to the URL:
domain.com/generator/index.php

I installed generator to the root directory of my site and the page was denied. I then added "index.php" to the web address and I got a page not found message. The forum board says to check and see if my host supports php. How do I find that out?
