Cannot get sitemap_tpl.html template to work

I've searched elsewhere in the forums and can't seem to find a solution for my issues. I have edited the sitemap_tpl.html file, uploading it to the server, and the script is still using the unedited version of sitemap_tpl.html.

I even checked, and the file on my server is the edited version (so I know that it uploaded). Any suggestions on what might be occurring or what I need to do to fix this. It worked fine before but this issue arose after I upgraded to the most recent version of the script. Thank you for any suggestions.

is the sitemap.html produced by generator actually updated? May be it's not writable and old version is kept intact.

Thank you for replying. I have a quick question: Is the sitemap_tpl.html which the program uses located in:

www.mysite.com/generator/pages/sitemap_tpl.html

Or, is it located in:

www.mysite.com/generator/pages/mods/sitemap_tpl.html

For some reason I have files in both locations.
