installation and uploading generator files

I'm using MS Expression 4 to upload the site generator and all the files in the 'generator' folder have been transferred except one file in the 'data' folder. Every attempt to upload '.htaccess' fails.

The second problem.  I have created and uploaded the sitemap.xml and ror.xml files, but when I follow the installation instructions and right click on either of these I don't get the popup screen with File Attributes on it.

Can anyone tell me how to resolve these problems please?

Hello,

some servers do not support ".htaccess" files, it's ok to skip it.
In case of windows server you should change permissions (allow write access) in hosting control panel instead of ftp client.
