Not working on Windows Server 2008 R2

1. Crwaler not running
    I've followed the instructions -> saved configuration
    but when clicking the run button on the crawl tab nothing happens.
    after a while it redirects to the general error page probably due to session timeout
2. In addition I've tried to enter login + password in the configuration but looks like it doesn't         work.

I've installed php and am using the FastCGI module for the handler
any ideas ?

You can check your server access_log and error_log for entries that could be related.
