Installed on website ok but no access allowed

I just bought generator & installed onto my hosted joomla website by FTP with no problems, reset permissions etc. But... when i try to access the generator [ External links are visible to forum administrators only ]  i get this message .... any ideas whats gone wrong please?

You don't have permission to access /generator/ on this server.

Apache/2.2.3 (CloudLinux) Server at [ External links are visible to forum administrators only ] Port 80

Ok i was reading through the forum and saw apost similar to mine and it was suggestd the generator folder was re-uploaded by ftp - I tried that & hey presto it now works - at least I can access the generator page. I have set a username and password so will see how I get on tomorrow. thanks - time for bed now its 3.15am
