File permission problem

Hi,

I'm having problem giving the files permission using filezilla. I logged into Goddady control panel so I can do it manually. I was able to change the permission setting for the data folder but I'm not able to change the permission setting for sitemap.xml and ror.xml, the permission link to the setting not clickable.

Can anyone help me with this.?

you can create a new folder, put sitemap files in it, allow write access to that folder and configure sitemap generator to save sitemaps in that folder.

I switch my server from Windows to Linux, I gave the files the permission required but the site maps not working. I type in the link below and received a page not found error message.
