Exclude url dont exclude the url string

Hi,
I dont completely understand how to exclude urls.

I have the last month had my sitemap exclude url configurations like this:

component/
index.php?option=com_user&view=register
index.php?option=com_user&view=login
wholesale
faq

However, no matter what i search for in google, its the [ External links are visible to forum administrators only ] result string that always appear first.

I have the same content in the parse url field.

Is everything here correct according to how the system works?

for example..

even though i have set exclude url to component/ , the first search options i get in google is still:

[ External links are visible to forum administrators only ]

and not

[ External links are visible to forum administrators only ]

Hello,

"Exclude URLs" setting is used to tell generator to NOT include certain pages in sitemap. It doesn't remove anything from urls though.

no no, i realize that. But the products on my site are found in two urls strings. One, in /shop/   and one in a component for new products which i have on my front page. However i did/do not want the urls related to the component to appear in google, at least not at first, so i have set the exclude urls to compoonent/.

Are these URLs still included in sitemap?
