500 (internal server) error

I just installed the Unlimited Sitemap Generator and started to create a sitemap. Now I'm getting this 500 (internal server) error. Have I set something up incorrectly?

Hello,

it looks like your server configuration doesn't allow to run the script long enough to create full sitemap. Please try to increase memory_limit and max_execution_time settings in php configuration at your host (php.ini file) or contact hosting support regarding this.

Our site is hosted on GoDaddy. I spoke with them about this issue and they pretty much told me too bad. Is there any other work-around here? Can I generate multiple sitemaps on smaller portions of the site (it's really large)?

Now I'm getting this error:
HTTP Error 500.0 - Internal Server Error
C:\php5\php-cgi.exe - The FastCGI process exceeded configured request timeout

I'm assuming that's the same problem.
