no crawlin, how to install

hi everybody,

sorry for my poor english i'm french, I installed sitemap generator in the root of my server files, I created the sitemap file and set the permissions on files, I run the crawl and it's always "Please wait. Sitemap generation in progress ... "the robot does not go to the site and nothing happens, the map files do not grow at all, how to set up, is there any file to edit the tpl for I see no way how to make the sitemap is generated, no faq for installation or not at all clear in explanations.

the sitemap is create now, but there is a bug, here is the message when i click on the sitemap.xml in googlemastertools.

error message :

sorry it's ok, maybe it was because the sitemap just be download yesterday when i try so there was no link in the index, now it's ok there is already 148 link in the index today.

what do you think about this link, it's duplicate content no !!!

Since it's a page in different language, I wouldn't consider it as a duplicate.

ok, there is matter on the sitemap !!!!

all the link are in english, there is no translation in french for the french link, what's the matter ?

the second link in english is ok, nut the french link must be translate like this one under normaly.

You can exclude those links by adding "language=" in "Exclude URLs" setting.

the matter is not to exclude some link, the matter is that the rewritting don't work for the french link, why.

it's not that the link changed, it's that the sitemap generator didn't rewrite the french link

the link must be in french and in english, all the time he write the link like this

[ External links are visible to forum administrators only ]
[ External links are visible to forum administrators only ]

to exlude the ?language=en it's ok i know i can exclude this link for the sitemap, but for the french link, the rewrite don't work, the link is in english instead of french why ?

normaly the french link must be like that :

or better like that :

[ External links are visible to forum administrators only ]


normaly the sitemap must generate this link :

Hello,

you can remove "language=" from "Do not parse" setting, and recreate sitemap. In this case generator will check redirects for these pages (although it will take longer to create sitemap)
