how to open the sitemap generator

Good evening, I follow all the details on the guide for the installation, but when I` m going to write [ External links are visible to forum administrators only ] nothing happen.
I have only this result
[ External links are visible to forum administrators only ]?pretty;board=generator.0
How to open the sitemap generator?
I` ve created all files, sitemap.xml and ror.xml with the correct permission set up already.
The data folder inside the generator folder has permission as well.

Any advise?

yes the permissions for generator/folder are set to 755
generator/data folder permission 777
ror xml/ sitemap xml 0666 outside the folder generator inside the root httpdocs

the installation is for a forum smf.

looks like but as I reported in a different post I couldn` t create my sitemaps.
