how to with www and no www

I have created a sitemap for my site using "www.xyz.com". I would like to create a sitemap for "xyz.com". Do I need to create a new sitemap (sitemap1.xml) and  ror1.xml for [ External links are visible to forum administrators only ]? I am noticing that [ External links are visible to forum administrators only ] does not index all the URLs as in the case of [ External links are visible to forum administrators only ]. Thanks

it is recommended to consolidate all URLs under the same subdomain (either www or non-www), if you can't do that, you'll need two sitemaps, with different filenames.
