News XML Question.

If my site is not included in google news is this sitemap pointless? does the main sitemap include the news sitmap as well or would I have to deselect news sitemap to have those links in News Sitemap be in the main sitemap.xml?

in case if site is not approved by google news, there is no reason to create news sitemap (it won't hurt to have one though).
