our progress take too long

our site is a big site .
up to now is :

Memory usage: 286,236.6 Kb


and in the middle of progressing its disconnected many time because of memory limit and we increase server memory limit up to 1024 mb.

but beyond these there is no sitemap for us.
my question is that is it possible to have sitemap up to know ? if yes how?
