Sitemap Generator Forum

I have seen various posts on this forum from users experiencing the same or similar problems with the sitemap generator only indexing the home page of their site despite there being considerably more.

I appear to have no problem when using the free online generator but when I use the unlimited version I cannot get past the first page.

I have added the 127.0.0.1 as the ip address to crawl because if I leave it blank an error is created.

The site is reading from a database on another server and that may be the problem but can't understand why the free online version seems to stroll through the pages.

Any help would be appreciated.

Did you try suggestions with server IP address and using Curl option?

Yes, I tried. Same error.

I am using the Unlimited version and this is the page indexed:

<title>Default Parallels Plesk Panel Page</title>
<description>Default Parallels Plesk Panel Page</description>

I have other identical website running in the same server and everything is ok.

Probably there is a configuration problem - it looks like your server doesn't allow local network connections via port 80 (http) - as a result sitemap generator is not able to crawl the site. This is usually related to firewall installed at the host - could you please contact your hosting support regarding this?
