sitemap generator tabs not working

[rock-imaging]

just instaled standalone generator by the letter but when i go to
[url]http://iloveshortfilms.com/generator/

i can see the Configuration page and can change text and set values but when i press save it takes me back to my site, when i go back to the generator page evrything i just changed is back to defalt

when i click on Crawling  or any  of the other tabs it takes me to:

Page Not Found

how do i fix this

i was told  to create a file named .htaccess in generator folder with one line:
RewriteEngine off

i did this but stil not working please help
