Working alongside CMS

Just bought my first unlimited sitemap.

I am trying to get it to work alongside a CMS called Silverstripe.

The issue is the the .htaccess has a rewrite base which stops you being able to get to pages through the URL bar is they are not part of the CMS. I have managed to exclude the generator folder on its contents.

However when I visit [URL]/generator. I recieve a server area.

What is the file permissions meant to be on the content files. Is there a file I can get to to kick start the installation?

please try to create a file name ".htaccess" in generator/ folder with one line:
RewriteEngine off
