Crawl Redirects To Configuration - Solution + Help from admin

Hi,

had this problem whereby on clicking crawl, it redirects back to the configuration page. Did a search on the forum and found a thread without solution on it.

I managed to solve the problem by removing my index.html redirect in .htaccess
Once the redirect is on the problem comes back. So right now i have to manually crawl for sitemaps after i have removed the redirect, manually remove the index.html from my sitemaps and than add back my redirect.

Hope admin can help solve this matter

please try to create a file name ".htaccess" in generator/ folder with one line:
RewriteEngine off

Hi tried.

Notice there is .htaccess within data already.

tried overwriting with 1 line and adding the line into the existing file. both did not work.

can you provide a temporary ftp access for troubleshooting?

Try adding the .htaccess file to the /generator folder (not the /data folder).  I did that and the problem was resolved.
