Problem with umlaut

I just wanted to install the standalone sitemap generator for my domain [ External links are visible to forum administrators only ], but it seems that the generator cannot deal with domains that have an umlaut in them?

Is there a fix for this? Or is using the standalone generator out of the question?

you should specify it as [ External links are visible to logged in users only ]

I did that, but than it only indexed the front page. Maybe it cannot follow the non-encoded urls I use on my site?
