Russian language for <image:caption> in sitemap_images.xml

Hello!
My site [ External links are visible to forum administrators only ] in Russian language, utf-8.
Titles in sitemap.xml are ok.
But all the contents of <image:caption> in sitemap_images.xml are in abracadabra

Could you suggest the cause or decision, please?
