Have 10,000+ pages and sitemap showing only 4,900

I have Sitemap Generator working in one website perfectly. Today, I installed it on a website that has 10,000+ pages and Sitemap Generator shows only 4,900+ pages. I checked the code in my index page and there is a "href" for every link.
