Crawler Just Hangs

I have tried multiple time to get the sitemap created for [ External links are visible to forum administrators only ] however it starts and then just seems to hang. I have left it for hours and never moves. I have given 666 permissions to the two files. Also followed install instructions. Can you please help?

Can someone please look into this. Else I will be asking for a refund on the basis the product does not work.
