Question about sitemaps in WMT

I have a content website and 3 sitemaps submitted to my WMT - sitemap.txt, sitemap.xml and sitemap-images.xml. I was wondering if that's not too many sitemaps and if Google can consider that spammy? If so should I remove any of them? sitemap.txt and sitemap.xml have the same URLs and sitemap-images.xml has the URLs that contain images. Thanks.

only xml sitemaps should be submitted. There is no need to submit text sitemap.
