« on: May 24, 2013, 03:31:57 PM »
Hi,
please can you explain to me the difference between "Save sitemap to" and "Sitemap url".
Do I have to use the same path?

thank you very much

Hello,

"save sitemap to" contains a full file name on your server, where sitemap is stored, like /path/to/your/folder/sitemap.xml", while Sitemap URL is the link to it, like http://www.domain.com/sitemap.xml

Sorry but I don't understand.
For me, the path where the sitemap is stored is the same of url.

For "server" do you mean my PC? So I need to create a folder on my PC and not only on the remote server?

Sorry again but I need to understand this issue.

Thank you

This settings are filled in automatically, so you don't need to change them.
