url rewriting causing urls to be incorrect

I have certain form pages on my site that when navigated to insecurly (via http) they return a 301 redirect to the https version.  When the sitemap generator accesses and crawls these pages however it creates the link url of [ External links are visible to forum administrators only ]/www.mysite.com/secure-page in the sitemap when it should of instead been [ External links are visible to forum administrators only ] .

Is there a way to configure the generator to do this properly and have the correct links?

I have fixed this by adding the constraint to not do the url redirect for xml-sitemaps user agent.
