create xml sitemap

I am trying to create a XML sitemap for [ External links are visible to forum administrators only ] but when I try to start the generator by using [ External links are visible to forum administrators only ] I get the error message "an error occurred while processing this directive". There are multiple websites on the server and there are subdomains being used so I don't know how to start the generator.
Any suggestions

Hello,

make sure that you have 755 permissions set for generator/ folder and 644 permissions for generator/index.php file.

I checked all permissions and opened them up to 777 on the folder and files but I'm still getting the same error message.

They must be set to 755,not 777.
