Broken Links

Hi I have been running the generator well on my site until recently but that is not the issue of the generator but the webhost I think it generates so many pages then times out. But the real question is it found a broken link which was great. I fixed the link but the sitemap generator keeps reporting a broken link on this page. Should it reset by itself? Do I need to do something? Is is possible I have another broken link on the same page just after I fixed one, unlikely.

did you regenerate sitemap after fixing the broken link?
What is an example broken link/referring page that gets reported?

I deleted the old site map to be sure and it reported a broken link. So I investigated further and found a part of the previous link that was still there. the sitemaps generated since have reported it fixed.

I also found a good way of stopping the site map stopping due to time outs by putting a time in the monitor crawler window. so all good thanks.
