Config Not Saving

I just upgraded from v2.9 to v6.0. After installing v6.0 I am unable to get the config to save any changes. I have double-checked permissions and they are 777 for the data directory and all enclosed files.

Any ideas?

Do you have a generator.conf file in the data directory? If so try deleting it and a new one will be created.

I deleted the generator.conf file and a new one was automatically generated. But it still won't save any changes I make. Anything I change through the Configuration tab is not saving. The mod date of the generator.conf file confirms this.

It acts as if there are no write permissions but I have set file permissions to 777 for generator.conf.

please try to create a file name ".htaccess" in generator/ folder with one line:
RewriteEngine off

That worked! Thanks for the help!
