Security Question

So I installed the files via FTP. But I have a question regarding security. The permissions are set to 666 for the files & 777 the generator folder.

Can't anyone go to http://www.mysite/generator/ and mess with my sitemap generator?

This seems like a great tool, but as it stands now, anyone in the world can access the information in the generator folder, including the tool itself. Or am I missing something??

Shouldn't access to this tool be password protected, or something?
