Running first time suggestions?

Hi I just installed first time. I see option for 'metatag' but says will increase memory usage.

Right now assuming around 25,000 pages. I am running on a standalone server with I believe 32Gigs of RAM. Can I expect this to run overnight and/or if it does not finish will it negatively impact the site?

In fact we run off a dev server too, can we index the dev server, then just do search/replace on the domainname?

1. that should not be a problem (make sure that memory_limit in PHP configuration is high enough, like 256M or more)

2. Yes, you can create sitemap on dev server and manually change it after that if needed.

Thanks Oleg. If we do so do we lose the 'broadcast' part of the app that then tells search engines about our sitemap? Would just uploading the sitemap to Google Webmaster suffice or does your app do more?

Submitting sitemap (and keeping up to date) is sufficient.
