Sitemap_news only new items... Is it correct?

Recently my website is in google news.

I've bought news sitemap_news but only have the news of the day (And I've 1200 notices in the web!).

Is it correct?

according with News sitemap specification it only includes pages from last 2 days:
[ External links are visible to logged in users only ]
