Sitemap Generator Forum

At the risk of hogging the forum, I have another question regarding using xml-sitemaps for an Opencart installation.

I only have around 100 products in my store but xml-sitemaps is currently trying to crawl over 5000 pages!

What should I be blocking and how do I do this?  Just by looking at the current page being crawled, alchemy-gothic?sort=rating&order=DESC&page=4, I'm pretty sure I don't need pages like this in my sitemap lol

Any thoughts?

After reading the help file I tried adding sort= to the Exclude URL option, but this had no effect

please try to run generator from the scratch after changing "Exclude URLs" setting.
Has the sitemap been created?

Hi,

Yes, after deleting the generator folder and the sitemaps and reinstalling, this has done the trick.

However; Google Web Tools says there are no URL's in the sitemap.  Please don't answer here as I already started a new thread with this problem.
