Sitemap Generator Forum

I have a sitemap on our site that keeps getting included in with the sitemap that the generator creates.  This is causing problems with Google because there is content I don't want Google to index.  The site sitemap  is automatically created by the software and I don't have much control over it like I do with this program.

The url is [ External links are visible to forum administrators only ]

I went into the exclude URL's part of the software and put in
sitemap

but it is still including it.  Is there something else I need to do?

I don't see a link to "sitemap" page in your xml sitemap: [ External links are visible to logged in users only ]

I was able to figure out a way to get rid of it.  I didn't post the answer till I recrawled the site and to see if it was gone.  As you pointed out, it is gone.

So here is what I  did:

In the Miscellaneous Section find

Excluding matching URLs:
then just place the complete url in the box and hit save.  That got rid  of it.
