Fatal error: Call to undefined function exrHBWP15()

Just updated to V7 and I am getting the subject error. I have searched for this function and found references in ./pages/page-analyze.inc.php, ./class.utils.inc.php, and ./index.php. I get this error both when opening site/generator and also invoking runcrawl at the command prompt.
I also had to remove the provided .htaccess file to get this far.

Can you help?

please try to reupload all generator files to your server again, overwriting existing files.

I wiped the generator directories clean and recopied and that fixed it but I still had to remove the provided .htaccess file.
