Installation error: 404--Generator not found

I've just installed the latest version of Unlimited PHP Sitemap Generator onto my new web hosting server, but when I run <mydomain>/generator, I get the following error:

The requested URL /cgi-bin/php5.cgi/generator/index.php was not found on this server.

The Generator folder & files is located in /www/htdocs

I've successfully used Sitemap Generator on my previous web hosting server for many years. Not sure what's different here. Can anyone help?

looks like there is a problem with PHP configuration on your server, please contact your hosting support to correct this.

You're right. And after fiddling with my new host's control panel I finally got Unlimited PHP Sitemap Generator to work by changing the version of PHP my host was supporting (which I think forced it to correctly configure the PHP for the first time). Thanks for your reply!
